Jovanina’s Broken Italian brings a fresh, modern take on Italian cuisine, through a Colorado lens, to Denver’s Lower Downtown neighborhood. With a dinner menu built for sharing, menu staples include vegetable-forward dishes, handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza, seafood, steak and revolutionary desserts, all incorporating the best local and regional ingredients by season.

The innovative beverage program features classic craft cocktails, wine and house-made cocktails on tap, barrel-aged spirits and seasonal liqueurs. Downstairs, in Sotto Voce, Jovanina’s subterranean, Prohibition-era-style lounge, guests enjoy carted craft cocktails, local beer, an extensive wine list and an innovative absinthe program.

Jovanina’s is open for dine-in service from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and from 5-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Please call to order pick-up services, available on select nights.

A soft, warm touch on a street full of imposing brick storefronts.
Candle-lit and inviting, it offers a full view of the open kitchen and
a beautiful zinc bar. We can accommodate 65-75 people
seated for dinner and up to 150 people for reception or bar service.

SOTTO VOCE – WINE CELLAR

Italian for "in a lowered voice" (a play on the English "speak-easy"),
is a warmly lit, intimate subterranean venue that plays on
both its current status as Jovanina's wine cellar and its former
use as a Prohibition-era meeting place.
We can accommodate 35 people seated for dinner
and up to 55 people for reception or bar service.

VIA SOPRA

Is quite literally “above” as its name would suggest,
an exclusive room on the second floor with a commanding view of Blake Street.
Dine or meet here in our custom showroom, enjoying an elevated position
to match our elevated service. We can accommodate 25 people seated for dinner
and up to 45 people for reception or bar service.
